Managing user rights in SIGSCAN Industry

The rights are defined by the administrator. Here are our recommendations in terms of configuration.

1 - Devices : Allows you to manipulate objects

You can perform all possible actions with an object:

Create, modify and delete an object

Associate and disassociate an object

You can view the position history of objects in Equipment and in the object pages.

2 - Object types: Allows you to view objects in Sigscan only

Gives access to viewing objects on plans and the list of objects registered in Equipment, Patient Safety and Linen.

By default, all object types are visible to users, you can restrict access by specifying which types the user should have access to.

3 - Equipment: Allows you to manage hardware

Tag and receiver management allows you to add to your Sigscan organisation the hardware necessary for the solution to function. You can add, rename and delete hardware. You can also configure alerts for a low battery level, a disconnected receiver.

4 - Alerts : Allows you to configure alerts

You can define alerts for objects or tags in either Equipment or Patient Safety. You can receive these alerts by notification on the application and/or by email.

Alerts can be set up for several members or a group of members.

5 - Buildings: Manage plans

You can integrate new plans, modify them or delete them completely. You can also place BLE receivers on the plans, as well as tracing zones.

Please note that deleting or modifying a plan will delete the positions of the objects. Please contact Sigscan customer service for assistance.

6 - Users: Allows you to manage users and their rights

You can view or create members and groups in order to define their rights and add or remove a member from a group.
