Fonctionnement général de la solution

La plus haute instance dans Sigscan est une Organisation. Dans une Organisation on trouve les Beacon et les Objets que l’on associe ensemble.

Dans les Beacon on trouve les positions des beacons ce qui nous donne donc la Position objet qui est écrite dans l’Objet Sigscan.

Dans l’Objet Sigscan on trouve son type. Les types d’objet sont définis au préalable, on sélectionne les champs configurables que l’on veut y trouver.

 Enfin on trouve les valeurs des champs configurables qui sont définis par l’Objet Sigscan.  

How the BLE solution works

A BLE tag is physically associated with an object so that it can be geolocated by the nearest receiver.

The tag can be glued, screwed or hung (depending on the type of tag and the type of object). Its position is determined by the direction and strength of the BLE signal relative to the receivers.

The receivers, strategically placed to cover the required areas, transmit information from the customer's internal network to the Sigscan software via a secure connection.

How the RFID solution works

An RFID tag is physically associated with an object so that it can be detected by fixed and/or mobile readers.

Tags are stuck directly onto objects and can be detected by fixed or mobile readers. A fixed reader can be used to monitor a busy area or a permanent presence. A mobile reader will detect all objects in its field of action at the time of scanning.

When a tag is detected, the antenna linked to a reader sends the information via a secure connection to the SIGSCAN software.

When a tag is scanned by a mobile reader, you can define its location in SIGSCAN via the application installed on the mobile readers.
